What to expect before you book.

Do you shoot on location or do we come to a studio?

Both. Most food clients prefer on-location shoots at their restaurant, kitchen, or production facility — it captures the real environment and keeps logistics simple. We also have studio access for controlled, white-background, or editorial-style work. We’ll recommend the best approach based on what you’re trying to produce.

Do we need to have a food stylist on set?

Not necessarily. For most restaurant and hospitality shoots, we work directly with your kitchen team to present dishes at their best — no outside stylist required. For packaged goods, campaign work, or editorial shoots where precision matters most, we can recommend trusted food stylists we’ve worked with, or you’re welcome to bring your own.

How many dishes or products can we cover in a session?

It depends on the complexity of each shot and whether we’re capturing photo, video, or both. A focused half-day shoot typically covers 8 to 15 hero dishes well. Full-day sessions can accommodate more, especially if the menu items are simple to set up. We’ll scope this out during planning so you know exactly what to expect before we arrive.

How long until we receive our images and footage?

Edited photo galleries are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks. Video content, depending on complexity and edit length, is usually delivered within 3-4 weeks. Rush turnaround is available for time-sensitive campaigns — just let us know upfront, and we’ll build that into the project plan.
