Founded by Meagan Gumpert, we create visuals that reflect what’s actually there so brands and people are seen the way they’re meant to be. Every project starts with understanding. When the groundwork is right, the shoot feels natural and the result feels real. We work with clients who care about what they’re building and want it represented with clarity and intention.
That approach has led to partnerships with organizations like the World Equestrian Center, AdventHealth, HCA Ocala, and On Top of the World.

Behind the Lens
Founder & Creative Director
Meagan, rhymes with “vegan,” is a visual storyteller known for her ability to find and capture the moments that feel real. She has a background in sculpture and ceramics, but found her way behind the camera in 2017, where she began focusing on photography and cinematography as a medium for storytelling.
As the founder of Avera, Meagan leads with both strategy and artistry. Her work is grounded in the belief that strong visuals do more than look good. They shape perception, build trust, and support real business outcomes.
With years of experience leading commercial photography and video productions, she has developed a process that prioritizes clarity, preparation, and a calm, intentional presence on set. Clients are guided from initial concept through final delivery with a focus on making the experience seamless and the results meaningful.
Outside of work, Meagan is an early riser who prefers full days and early nights. Life at home with her husband Ben and their two teenage boys is fast-paced and full of sports schedules, travel, and eating delicious food. She values discipline, growth, and making time for both work and life in ways that feel intentional.
Lead Videographer
CJ is a videographer driven by curiosity, movement, and a deep passion for storytelling. His work is shaped by a wide range of influences from music and film to the people and places he encounters along the way, giving his style a distinctive, layered perspective.
With six years of experience, CJ has directed and edited music videos, collaborated with travel brands, and created content across a range of industries. His work spans from international travel to equestrian environments here in Ocala, always with a focus on capturing moments as they naturally unfold.
His portfolio reflects that range. From climbing mountains in Switzerland to documenting life in Egypt and filming in the energy of Miami, CJ brings a creative instinct that allows him to adapt, observe, and tell stories in a way that feels both intentional and real.
At Avera, he brings that same perspective to every project, creating films that are visually compelling, emotionally grounded, and true to the moment.
Nick’s photography journey started over a decade ago, just a teenager with a camera, chasing moments that felt worth remembering. What began as documenting everyday life quickly turned into a deep appreciation for capturing energy, atmosphere, and the feeling of being there.
With over five years of commercial experience, Nick brings a cinematic, fast-paced perspective to his work at Avera. He has an instinct for timing and light, especially in environments that are constantly moving or shifting. Whether it’s the glow of a night sky, the chaos and color of Halloween Horror Nights, or the speed and intensity of IndyCar racing, he knows how to frame a moment in a way that makes you feel it.
He’s drawn to experiences that carry a sense of adrenaline and unpredictability. Places where things don’t slow down and moments don’t repeat. That instinct translates into work that feels immersive, alive, and honest.
Outside of work, Nick’s world revolves around his wife Megan and their two girls. Together, they’re always chasing something new. Finding hidden gem restaurants, planning their next trip, or turning an ordinary day into something worth remembering.
For Nick, photography isn’t just about documenting what happened. It’s about holding onto the feeling of it.
